Silver fillings are not silver. A silver filling is more than 50% mercury. In the late 70’s, we stopped doing silver/mercury amalgam fillings. I did my research and concluded there is no way I would ever put those toxic materials in any of my family members mouths so how could I put them in anyone else’s mouth. I felt the evidence was so over whelming that Amalgam would soon be banned. I was wrong. Many OTHER countries banned it… but not ours. Why, has always been my question.? For what reason do the powers that be have, to be so willing to ignore the evidence and to support not only a lower quality material for restorative purposes, but a potentially dangerous material as well.I will let you decide the answer.
